Currently working on Unit 4E and becoming orientated to labour and delivery since January 2024.

Duties include:

- Working closely with providers and midwifes in coaching patients throughout childbirth and assisting with deliverers including vacuum and forceps delivery's and providing post-natal recovery

- Utilizing OBIX to monitor maternal contractions and FHR and providing timely interventions as needed

-Discussing and administrating pain management options including: breathing techniques, positioning, counter pressure, IV inhaled analgesia, and epidural management.

- Attended a Spinning Babies seminar and became familiar with optimal maternal positioning to enhance

- The role of baby nurse for emergent and elective cesarean sections
