- Selected and organized the decor finishes for the overall decor catalogue that ranged from standard (while being competitive with other builders) and higher end products. Updated products to align with the current and ongoing trends while still providing options for all styles and tastes.
- Created an excel decor catalogue that the client could review ahead of their appointment. This allowed them to budget and provide insight as to what their most important needs are during their appointments. Retail pricing in the catalogue was updated as needed as costs increased or as items were pulled/discontinued.
- Worked closely with management to provide retail pricing to the homeowners with the appropriate mark-ups that allowed for a reasonable profit while being competitive with the current market.
- Assisted the decor consultants with custom pricing, product information and specifications if needed.
- Created visual catalogues for specific items like fireplaces, plumbing fixtures, etc. to make sales easier for the consultants.
- Coordinated with product reps and specialists to ensure samples are current, in stock and are up to the builder's standards and worked closely with the reps and trades to provide appropriate alternatives if the preferred material is not available.
- Main contact for trades, site supers, customer care and customer relations for all site/homeowner related questions or concerns.
- Contacted customers to complete alternative selections if needed via email or in-person due to quality or stock issues.
- Completed mechanical, electrical and colour appointments with customers if the consultants were not able to fit them in with the timelines provided.
- Worked closely with sales and marketing, the architects and decor management to provide slightly modified floor plans within the existing footprint or full floorplan changes with 3rd floor additions, extensions, stone cladding, etc.
- Assisted designers with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, decor selections, etc. for model homes. Provided appropriate pricing within the budget provided while providing feedback to the designers as well as sales and marketing that could potentially create profit for the decor studio overall for future homes.
- Selected interior selections, created drawings and coordinated timelines for renovations at our head office and the decor studio.
- Provided drawings and specific measurements for site and trades as needed for custom changes (eg. raised linear fireplaces, custom tile inlays, etc.)
