• Provide interpretation of MWD data to the client and/or directional drilling supervisor.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all upgrades and modifications are completed to the MWD system hardware and software.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base on all new technology.
• Ensure that safety policies and practices are consistently followed.
• Train new personnel on all MWD objectives and requirements, enforcing up-to-date SOPs and safety procedures.

Motorhand duties.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment at the drilling site.
• Execute minor repairs, and notify the rig manager of major repairs required.
• Comply with all safety policies and regulations, and ensure that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
• Provide assistance to the driller and derrick hand on the drill floor, ensuring their safety and efficiency.
• Regularly monitor the pH and solid levels in the boilers.
• Train new crew members, such as roustabouts, and floorhands.
• Complete and diligently maintain log sheets and maintenance cards.

Floorhand duties.

• Handling the drill pipe.
• Ensuring that the drilling rig is maintained in a clean and safe condition, free from any potential tripping hazards.
• Assisting the motorhand when required.
• Preparing and maintaining drilling tools and pipes.
• Operating and maintaining machinery, including moving, adjusting, and recalibrating components.
