Presently working as full time community clinician providing OT services to people in their homes and community settings; work scope includes assessment of the client (functional mobility, transfers, activities of daily of living and cognition) along with their physical environment (home); intervention may include prescription of adaptive aids, recommendations for home supports and/or home modifications for accessibility needs and consultation with other healthcare and team members and third parties to help assist clients with living safely in their homes; the position as OT2 also includes overseeing and providing leadership to support staff and OT1 positions and working alongside division manager for specific discipline and program development, implementation and evaluation

Worked as part-time therapist on multidisciplinary team for inpatient addictions program serving young adult to senior population; OT role included program development, running skill based and psychoeducational groups along with individual consultations with clients regarding return to work and school goals

Worked as clinician on various inpatient rehab floors from low intensity to intensive rehabilitation to adult clients with various neurological and orthopedic conditions; assessment and intervention focus on functional living skills, including transfers, mobility, self-care and meal preparation tasks, along with equipment prescription and home assessment recommendation for discharge planning

Completed contracts as a consultant with WorkSMART Injury Management Systems for office and industrial ergonomics providing group and individual "train the trainer" education sessions along with private consultation for home assessments, personal care needs and functional capacity evaluation
