  • Our research team had over17 active studies, all investigating the neurochemical pathology of Parkinson’s Disease using Positron Emission Tomography, functional MRI and other research modalities.

  • I managed an IV clinic for Zolendronic Acid infusion and cared for over 150 Excel (Breast Cancer Prevention Study) research participants. This clinic was one of the top recruiting sites worldwide for the Excel Study.

  • Scheduling and booking patients for their infusions/checking patients’ bloodwork and labs prior to their scheduled infusion
  • Obtaining IV access and administrating Zolendronic Acid while monitoring patients for adverse events and arranging patient follow up care
  • Completing concise and thorough infusion documentation by dictating the infusion procedure into the patient’s electronic medical record
  • Created a standard operating procedure for Zolendronic acid infusion in conjunction with Dr. Angela Cheung, Director of the Osteoporosis Clinic at Toronto General Hospital

  • Close monitoring of study patients (checking vital signs, performing physical exams, obtaining and reviewing blood work, reporting adverse events)
