  • Assisted in morning rounds connecting parents/family and friends via Zoom when the medical team (doctors, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, social workers, etc.) visited each patient to review their care plan.
  • In this role, I took the lead in preparing the area in a time-sensitive manner to create an efficient program that influences a positive environment for the guardians and staff.
  • This environment was high-stress, fast-paced, and complex where I was able to further enhance and develop my critical care nutrition knowledge and clinical skills.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals feel uncomfortable in a hospital setting. I supported patients, visitors, and staff by providing guidance and necessary information to navigate through the hospital while keeping health and safety at the forefront of their experience.
