Youth and Young Adult Special Needs Care Volunteer, Nairobi, KENYA, January-March 2014

Provided emotional and physical support to youth and young adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. Duties included: feeding, transportation, and coaching. Most importantly, I engaged children and young adults to make connections within the local communities for future employment opportunities.

I took on several volunteer roles while living abroad in Honduras; I started an art class for youth, took part in bi-weekly group kitchen/feeding efforts, and aided in collecting and distributing items during a clothing drive for individuals in need of support.
