• Participates in emergency response activities, including forest fire fighting and petroleum spill clean-up.
• Responding to watershed protection incidents such as trespasses, vandalism, and search and rescue operations.
• Maintaining records and daily operational logs as required, and submitting daily reports.
• Ensures all Metro Vancouver and WSBC policies, regulations, and legislation are followed.
• Patrolling GVWD lands to ensure compliance with watershed regulations and protect drinking water.
• Performing watershed orientations and ensuring that all individuals entering or working on GVWD lands have a valid watershed entry permit.
