I have always been a hard worker, before I was old enough to legally work I sold fire wood and did small jobs like cutting grass, landscaping, and time keeping local hockey games. I got my first job at 13 working for Bayfort Trailer Park as a groundskeeper and cleaning bathrooms.
I worked 3 summers at Wye Heritage Marina as a gas dock attendant and a yard worker. My tasks at the marina were shrink wrapping boats, maintaining the property and pool, and fuelling boats as a gas dock attendant. This job strengthened my customer service ability's such as communication, adapting to situations, and providing the best possible experience for the customer.
Out of highschool my goal was to work in the trades as an electrician and see if it was a career I would enjoy. I worked for Stephan's Electric alongside my boss (Stephan) for one full year before deciding that it was no longer a career I would like to pursue. Working in the trades taught me many valuable skills I can use going forward and helped me to further develop my work ethic.
