Maintained company fleet of AS350 B2/B3 Helicopters in field and hangar settings throughout NWT, Exploration/Utility/Wildfire, Supervised & mentored apprentices

• Maintained the company fleet of AS350B2 & AS350B3 helicopters, primarily in remote work environments based around northern BC and heliski operations.
• Tasked with Routine inspections, component changes, unscheduled inspections and assisting with operations (Rigging and Slinging equipment/materials, setting up & tearing down fuelling equipment, fire support etc) whilst in the field.
• Tasked with being the avionics person at SKH, gained a thorough understanding on the avionics and electrical systems utilized on the AS350 airframe & Arriel engines. Particularly the AS350B3 models with VEMD and FADEC integration.
• Inspected airframes & components to detect wear and other defects.

• Tasks including: Routine inspection intervals (50hr, 100hr, 200hr,
• Annual) and appropriate servicing at given intervals
• Performed aircraft maintenance for scheduled preventive applications and unscheduled requirements to ensure proper and safe operation
• Assisted with entire avionics suite retrofits, troubleshooting and numerous smaller installation of avionics stacks
• Structural work including numerous autopilot installations, rib replacement of flight control surfaces, skin damage repair and flight deck upgrades
• Removed and installed aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls
• Assisted with aircraft transport and movement of equipment.
