Summary

With 12 years of field operating experience I am hard working and honest always striving to keep production numbers at or above the requested goal while maintaining safety as number one. I have a good work ethic, and very passionate about my job never wanting to fail or fall short. I have always strived to make sure the ones that have asked me to do a job are not disappointed with the results I give them. In the past i have been able to learn new things without much difficulty wether that be a new field run, new data reporting programs, or company procedures etc. I adapt well. I have experienced company growth and change in the past and have never had an issue with it. Special tasks or projects are always welcomed as i like to dabble with out of the day to day routine type of stuff.


Born and raised in Dawson Creek I have a wife and 2 kids with a small hobby farm in the Fellers Heights/Arras area, not going anywhere anytime soon! I like winter more than summer, and enjoy mostly out door hobbies. Working with people from our community is a pleasure but i definitely do enjoy working with others from all over the world.

Field Operator

  • Maintained sweet and sour field gas wells
  • Start up/Operated and trouble shooting Gas Lift wells
  • Start up/Operated and trouble shooting Plunger Lift Systems
  • Start up of new Sweet and Sour gas wells and new well pads
  • Operate and maintain 2 sweet field separators and 2 sour separators. Tasks included trouble shooting, schedule maintenance, clean outs, confined space entries.
  • Operate and maintain 3 sets of sweetening towers. Tasks included trouble shooting, schedule maintenance, clean outs, confined space entries.
  • Operate and maintain 18 field test separators. Tasks included acquiring monthly well test volumes and entering results in in company data base. Trouble shooting test separator equipment and scheduling maintenance.
  • Operate and maintain 4 different tank farms. Task included scheduling of truckers, monitoring water and condy volumes entering truck tickets and tank levels into company data base.
  • Organizing and scheduling of field services, including permitting and all proper safety documentation. Examples, weed sprayers, graders, I/E, propane trucks, etc.
  • Familiar with lease hand overs, new well site construction, commissioning, and new pipeline commissioning and start up.
  • Sweet and sour pigging, including batch pigging
  • UT readings and documentation
  • Operate and maintain various other surface equipment. Examples: TEG's, Qenergy generator/air compressor packages, electric air compressors, electric and numatic choke/dump valve actuators, catadynes, heat trace, fuel gas scrubbers.
  • Assist in plant turn around and other plant outages.
  • Trained new operators in proper methods, equipment operation and safety procedures.

  • Operate/Maintain and trouble shoot 5 field screw compressors
  • Operate/Maintain and trouble shoot 3 gas driven reciprocating compressors, 2 stage and 3 stage.
  • Operate/maintain and trouble shoot various compressor site equipment including line heaters, heat trace, D hydrator's, inlet separators and communications.
  • Operate/Maintain remote access well sites. Familiar with Helicopter/ATV/Snowmobile access only pigging, batching and maintenance on various well sites and risers.
  • Operate/Maintain and trouble shoot plunger well systems and timer well programs and optimize for best possible production.
  • Follow a regular pigging and batching program to keep production up and maintain integrity programs
  • Work with 3rd party company's to maintain steady production through Cenovus facilities.
  • Schedule contractors for various field tasks, crew trucks, graders, mechanics, chemical deliveries, smart pigging etc.
  • Operate/Maintain and trouble shoot surface equipment on well sites including chokes, electric and pneumatic pumps, plunger catchers/sensors heaters etc.
  • Plan and assist in over hauls on compressors, following all LOTO procedures and permitting.
  • Plan and assist in separator cleanings and inspections including confined space entries.
  • Assist in plant shutdowns and yearly turnarounds.
  • Monitor production water tanks for condy/water levels. Organize trucking and manage trucking costs.
  • Recording daily production numbers in company data system.

  • Operate/Maintain and trouble shoot electric drive and gas drivin reciprocating compressors
