- Provides care for bedridden residents, including skin care, frequent re-positioning, grooming, dressing and personal care.
- Protects the right of the residents, in matters of confidentiality, privacy, beliefs and values.
- Reports concerns/abnormalities, regarding temperature, pulse, respiration weight, and documents bowel/bladder output and nutritional intake. Measures empties and reports catheter output, provides catheter care.
- Receives verbal report from RPN and notes incidents/conditions on previous events shifts. Reads and is informed of entries into the report book.
