  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to track high-risk surgical candidates, providing weekly status reports to the surgeon on completed pre-operative steps and securing surgery dates for patients.
  • Instruct patients in exam rooms on surgery details, including date, arrival time, and location. Communicate the need for anesthesia consultation, lab work, and provide medication and NPO instructions
  • Schedule follow up appointments and surgeries via EPIC and secure insurance authorizations and Letters of Agreement (LOAs) in advance.
  • Handle a high volume of daily calls while multitasking and managing day-to-day operations
  • Update surgeon's calendar.
  • Perform Data entry for surgery stats three times a week.
