A mature student with a strong commitment to clinical psychology, aiming to serve Indigenous communities in northern Ontario. A Dean's List student at Laurentian University with a solid foundation in psychology and neuroscience, complemented by experience as an Indigenous Learning Strategist at the Indigenous Sharing and Learning Centre, supporting students in overcoming academic challenges.
Research focuses on stress and anxiety from a behavioral economics perspective, examining how these factors influence motivation and contribute to addictions, whether to substances or interpersonal relationships. The goal is to develop evidence-based strategies that address these behavioral patterns and enhance rehabilitation efforts. Committed to increasing Indigenous representation in clinical psychology and ensuring better access to care for underserved communities.
