• Provide specialized technical expertise for research programs focused on laser material processing, metal additive manufacturing, robotics, and advanced manufacturing experimentation.
• Work independently from research objectives to design, build, and execute experimental systems, test setups, and prototype hardware used in R&D programs.
• Design and construct experimental setups, fixtures, tooling, and custom apparatus for research projects
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-power industrial laser systems and multi-axis motion platforms
