Nelson Hill

An actor by the name os Sid Mallya had been watching my work and wanted me to put him a feature I was writing called The Makers 3 friends try to make a feature film but their ego's get the best of them.

I finished the Proof of Concept and looking to have it made this year in 2025. I learned how to work with actors that have names, it was my first project directing someone who new the the Hollywood business and who had had success.

I also:

• Developed comprehensive business plans, outlining long-term goals and actionable steps toward success.
• Oversaw complex negotiations with suppliers/vendors for favorable contract terms that led to cost savings.
• Enhanced workplace safety protocols proactively addressing potential hazards before they became critical incidents.

After doing a feature I went back to a short Megalomaniac.

A young assistant gets a promotion at a very successful animation studio, he quickly finds out the dark secrets the CEO is hiding.

Budget $12,000

I saw Eyes Wide Shut and loved the concept so I wrote a similar story. I had the most amount of extras on a set I've ever had to work with. This project really pushed me to take control and stay calm in stressful situations.

I also:

• Updated and resolved incidents and managed accessorial charges objectively while maximizing profit.
• Managed purchasing, sales, marketing and customer account operations efficiently.
• Scheduled employees for shifts, taking into account customer traffic and employee strengths.

After doing about 8 short films between 2021 and 2023 I decided to do a feature film called The Wild Child.

A young man with aspirations of becoming a writer gets thrown into the business in a way he doesn't expect.

Budget $10,000

This taught me the most patience's. I had to work with a lot more actors, I honed in my directing actors skills not just looking at the image of the picture but performance.

As well as:

• Reducing financial inconsistencies while assessing and verifying billing invoices and expense reports.
• Implementing innovative programs to increase employee loyalty and reduce turnover.
• Identifiing and qualifing customer needs and negotiated and closed profitable projects with high success rate.

Black Money was another acting/directing.

A young man comes to a crossroads sacrificing his morals for the love of money.

Budget $5,000

I was not the main actor which allowed to focus a lot on the story. I learned a lot how to light characters depending on the scene. Shooting next to windows was a hug help.

Along with acting I also:

• Transformed organizational culture to embrace continuous improvement, leading by example and mentoring teams.
• Revolutionized customer service protocols, significantly improving customer satisfaction ratings.
• Boosted operational efficiency by optimizing supply chain processes.

This project Adam was the first I acted and directed.

it's about a young man is struggling with depression. To overcome his hardships he falls in love, but we find out she may cause him more pain than he realizes.

The acting was a challenge but I didn't allow to take away from my style of directing.

But I also:

• Managed time to arrive on set when required to not delay rehearsals and shows.
• Practiced lines and scenes independently and collaboratively to prepare for performances.
• Pursued continuous professional development through participation in acting classes and training programs, honing performance abilities.

This project was my second... called HumAnoid!

About a young kid is woken up to reality and begins explore what life has to offer - until we realize things may not be what they seem.

This project was a major a step up, I had gotten an Anamorphic Suiri Lens. I was able to focus on the quality and have that Hollywood/movie look.

Other tasks were:

• Developing high-performing teams by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Enhancing team collaboration through regular communication, goal setting, and performance evaluations.
• Establishing a culture of continuous improvement by fostering open communication channels and empowering employees to voice their ideas.
• Cultivating a positive work environment that fostered employee engagement, increased retention rates, and boosted overall team morale.

This project was a web series about a young dealer, tries to provide for his brother through selling drugs. As he starts to make a name for himself, Jack gets too deep into the business. He tries to find a way out, but at the cost of the only thing he loves most.

It was a very great learning experience I shot on a Sony A7iii.

I mainly:

• Managed budgets effectively to ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining financial stability.
• Strengthened internal controls by reviewing existing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Negotiated favorable contracts with vendors for reduced costs and improved service quality.
• Boosted client satisfaction rates through exceptional relationship management and prompt resolution of issues.
