Terminal Fitter
Operate and maintain equipment: Run Pumps for Tanker and Cylinder Filling, Opening and Closing of Valves and other machinery
Perform Cargo Transfers: Conduct Ship Discharge (Propane and Butane) as a Shore Operator. Keeping track of Cylinder movements in Trucks and Storage Facility
Ensured Compliance: Follow Health Safety and Environmental Regulations
Conduct Inspections: Perform regular maintenance and inspections of the terminal – such as LPG pump inspections, Terminal weekly and monthly inspections, Hose inspections, Eye wash service, Pipeline integrity Tests, Acme Tests, Fire Extinguisher inspections, Emergency Trailer inspections, Fill Nozzle Valve, Emergency Preparation, Impact Protection, Flammable Storage Cabinet, SOP, MSDS, Hazardous Area Inspection, Testing and Tagging, Electrical Equipment, Air Con Inspections, Gas detector Calibration, Mooring Inspection and Internal and External Inspections of Tanks and Tankers
Responding to Emergencies: Follow emergency plans and respond to operational disruptions such as: Air Leaks, Air Compressor Trip, Power Blackouts, facing difficulty in gas transfers etc.
Keep Records: Maintain accurate logs of operations and Equipment Issue such as having separate files for all the assets in the Terminal, performing or raising corrective work orders if there’s any issue with that particular asset.
Collaborate with others: Work with team members and other departments to improve operations.
Prepare reports: Create inventory and throughput reports.
Perform Tests: Performing Monthly ESD Tests, performing Monthly Fire Alarm Tests, doing CP tests and weekly running of Fire Pumps and diesel generators.
Identify Issues: Report equipment issues to maintenance to Teams or Contractors.
Maintenance Planner for Trucks and Vehicles
Ensure that Monthly Safety checks and 3 monthly Critical Inspections are done for Prime Movers, Rigid Tankers, Semi-Trailers and Light Vehicles.
Raise Corrective work order if defects are found and ensure its actioned with putting a stop work tag.
Keeping records with vehicle checklists, mileage and A, B, C and D servicing are done with its specific mileage.

Conducting Monthly Safety meetings with the OHS Team
Ensure all the minutes are entered on Done Safe and all the task highlighted in the meeting must be actioned within the due date.
Perform random checks on products and their MSDS, HAZMAT box, Spill Kit, Flammable storage cabinet, due date of Harness and availability of gloves, safety helmets and safety glasses.
Ensure that observations are made by all employees and implement hazardous free terminal so that incidents do not occur.

Ensure that Pre-Starts, JSA and Safe work permits have been filled before commencing any work out which is out of Procedure with all its necessary attachments such as Hot Work, Excavation, Isolations and Working At height and filed.
