Products- Fuel Channel End Fitting Body and Sub Assemblies, Calandria Tube Insert (CTI)

• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and industry standards (ASME, CSA N285.0, and N299) to define quality assurance requirements.
• Formulate comprehensive Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct receiving inspections according to N285 standards, assessing purchase orders for conformity to quality assurance requirements.
• Employ a variety of measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, pin gages, bore gauges, and ultrasonic thickness gauges, to achieve accurate measurements and maintain quality control.
• Oversee and validate adherence to testing protocols during pressure tests.
• Review documentation and test results to ensure conformity with established quality plan requirements.
• Interface with customer quality representatives to address quality issues and ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans.
• Assess Certificates of Material Test Reports (CMTR) and Certificates of Compliance (COC) to verify material conformance and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to determine appropriate corrective actions and material disposition.
• Generate and review OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damaged) Reports, DR (Discrepancy Reports), NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and CAR (Corrective Action Reports) as needed and close when completed.
• Interface with 3rd party inspector for hold and witness points for them to review, witness, and inspect as per the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Perform source inspections at supplier facilities to ensure products met quality standards and specifications.
• Compile and submit detailed data packages (history dockets) for design/build projects, utilizing database systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and MS Office for efficient tracking and documentation.

• Developed program and perform part inspection using PC-DMIS and PolyWorks software on CMM and Hexagon Arm.
• Performed PPAP layout, part layout, annual layout with drawing interpretation reading blueprint including GD&T specification.
• Calibration of gauges (company owns and employees own), maintain computerized system of gauge inventory and history using GAGEtrak software.
• Ordered and develop gauge plan for new program as required.
• Arrange for the calibration and repair of all gauges which were not maintained internally.
• Conducted capability studies and perform Gage R&R using Datapage+ software.
• Participated with process engineers for engineering changes and Percentage of Inspection points Satisfying Tolerances (PIST) calculation to meet customer requirement in PPAP.
• Certified check fixtures, identified any issues with fixture and suggested improvement if needed in CAD file or the fixture.
• Performed NDT inspection when necessary.

• Conducted First Off/Last Off inspections, in-process inspections, and special inspections of automotive parts for Ford, Stellantis, and GM, notifying production teams for any quality issues.
• Performed annual Layout, PPAP Layout, and Shipping/Receiving audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinated inspection activities and segregated nonconforming materials using 'Hold' tags for proper identification.
• Executed torque-out, push-out, tensile, contamination, and volumetric tests as per customer requirements, providing feedback to production teams for necessary adjustments.
• Operated V-INCOMETER, PAT Gauge, Contour Tracer, and Shadowgraphs/Profile Projector for precise measurements.
• Assisted Quality Engineer with data analysis in Minitab software to generate SPC charts for quality monitoring.
• Gained hands-on experience using various measuring tools, including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, dial indicators, bore gauges, and surface roughness testers.
• Maintained and documented quality-related records, such as Quality Alerts, ECNs, and 8D-5S implementation.
