• Assist with students experiencing difficulties with regular classroom work through individual or group work
• Assist with the reinforcement of skills taught under the direction of the teacher(s) for individual or group
• Assist with reinforcement of behavioral management strategies identified by the teacher
• Supervise students during out-of-school activities such as field-trips when required
• Supervise students during recess, lunch and bus loading and unloading
• Provide assistance for the personal care and hygiene of students with special needs
• Assist students with mobility (lifting in and out of mobility equipment), entering and leaving the buses and transition from one area to another

· Develop lesson plans that meet requirements of curriculum guidelines for each grade and learning

· Working with youngsters in an early childhood setting

· Maintaining the daily rhythm of the Kindergarten

· Supervising school children in the playground and on walks outside the school

· Creating effective and engaging lesson plans

· Managing the day to day running of the classroom
