Work History

Post-doctoral Fellow

Department of Rheumatology, Toronto western hospital
01.2023 - Current
  • Presently working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Rheumatology at Toronto western hospital, University Health Network, Toronto with Dr. Vinod Chandran (University of Toronto) and Dr. Ali Abdul Sater (York University) in the project titled “TRAF1 a novel therapeutic target for the treatment of Psoriatic arthritis”. In this project I am determining the expression of an adaptor protein “TRAF1” in different immune subtypes of Psoriatic arthritis patient’s PBMCs and synovial fluid cells using spectral flow cytometry and investigating whether genetic manipulation of TRAF1 in psoriatic arthritis cells lowers their pro-inflammatory activation and cytokine production.
