Accomplishments

Provided organizational support to improve legal document management. Created a digital filing index to categorize documents for organization and easy retrieval. This resulted in increased document retrieval speed and improved efficiency.

Enhanced communication and information accessibility for patients. Patients struggled to comprehended their insurance coverage and payment options. I developed an easy-to-understand informational handout and provided one-on-one assistance and help to clarify policy details to clients. This increased patient understanding and reduced billing-related disputes within the clinic.

Successfully handled high-stress customer interactions while maintaining professionalism. Clients frequently called regarding delayed or lost orders/shipments. This would create high-pressure situations within the office setting. I ensured that everyone in the office used the tracking system and followed up regularly, rather than only when complaints came in. This tracking system provided real-time updates and proactively informed customers of delayed beforehand. This reduced discrepancies and ensured customer satisfaction.

Increased efficiency in scheduling and reduced patient wait times. High patient volumes especially during peak seasons and weekends caused frequent scheduling conflicts, which would lead to long wait times and frustration. I re-organized the appointment booking system and fulfilled more than one role in the clinic to help out my team and co-workers. This reduced average patient wait time by 20-30% on weekends and enhanced overall client satisfaction and service efficiency. This was also profitable to the company.

Improved record accuracy, consent forms, and confidentiality compliance for patient files. Patient records were inconsistently updated, and there were many gaps in medical histories. At the end of the day I would ensure all information is accurate and we fill in all information according to the best of our knowledge and ability. A few minutes at the end of the day saved all of us from hassle and errors.
