Union Station Rail Corridor Supervisor (September 2023 – September 2024)

• Supervised Geotechnical Borehole Drilling, Union Station Track Slab investigations, Subsurface Utility Engineering A/B
• Plan and coordinate major track closures, collaborating with engineers, contractors, Metrolinx personnel, and Rail Traffic Control
• Supervised and coordinated worksites consisting of Drill Rigs, Hydrovac trucks, Railavators, Mark IV Production Tampers, Hi Rail Boom Trucks etc.
• Develop Metrolinx approved Work Plans
• Plan and implemented track protection procedures to maintain compliance with safety standards, including the Railway Safety Act and CROR
• Review of safety and quality documentation; Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Metrolinx Excavation permits, Metrolinx Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis(JHA), Job Assessment Risk Reviews, Inspection Test Plan(ITP)
• Plan and coordinate major track closures, collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, Metrolinx personnel, and Rail Traffic Control. On-site and in the office
• Establish a comprehensive understanding of the CROR (Canadian Rail Operating Rules) and Metrolinx GEI (General Engineering Instructions)

Investigations Team Supervisor (September 2024 – March 2025)

• Reviewed risk assessments and safety documentation to enhance track protection processes and minimize impact to production
• Review of safety and quality documentation; Job Hazard Analysis(JHA) reviews, Job Assessment Risk reviews, followed and reviewed Inspection Test Plan(ITP) checklists
• Supervised Geotechnical Drilling Investigations, Utility Locates, Hydrogeological investigations, Subsurface Utility Engineering
• Maintained a safe work environment by enforcing company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout each project phase.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, including the Railway Safety Act, Transport Canada's Railway Safety Management System, CROR and Metrolinx GEI
• Coordinate with train crews, construction crews, and Rail Traffic Control, to develop work plans, track protection procedures, and safety plans for construction and maintenance projects
• Review and issue protection permits and safety documentation, such as Risk Assessments, Workblocks, and various methods of protection, before work begins

• Operate heavy machinery such as rollers, pavers, and bulldozers to lay asphalt and concrete for roadways and parking lots
• Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects on time, and to required specifications
• Utilize tools and machinery to create appropriate grading for drainage systems, highways, and parking lots
• Operate and maintain work vehicle to transport equipment, materials, and crew to and from job sites

• Utilize hand tools like rakes, shovels and trowels to prepare surfaces for paving and grading
• Repair potholes and other surface defects in existing roads, sidewalks, and parking lots
• Manage traffic flow during construction by setting up barricades, cones, and other safety measures
