• I worked on a bore support crew who helped assist HD drilling company with the installing and supporting pipes underground using a boring process, which creates a tunnel or shaft for the pipe, minimizing surface disturbance. Worked a lot of water management work with hydrovacs, semi-vac trucks and trash pumps. Working with and around heavy equipment as well as hoisting and rigging.

• I worked on a grade crew/backfill crew, prepared the ground for construction projects by leveling land, shaping slopes, and ensuring proper drainage using heavy equipment like bulldozers, graders and excavators.

• Assists pipe fitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems. Cuts pipe and lifts up to fitters. Fits or assists in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps, or systems, using hand tools.

A Drill Pipe Inspector ensures the safety and integrity of drill pipes, tubing, and casing in oil and gas operations by performing thorough visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) using tools like Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI) to find cracks, corrosion, or wear, preventing dangerous downhole failures, and documenting findings to meet strict industry standards like API and DS-1

• Leftover paint and empty containers are received, identified, sorted and recycled.

• Tends portable concrete-mixing machine and hand casts ornamental and structural concrete building products, such as blocks, colored tile, simulated-brick facings, fireplace units, and reinforced roof and floor sections: Shovels sand, cement, gravel, or pumice into mixing machine.
