This role would consist of managing a classroom of 24 kindergarten students on my own. Coming up with outside or indoor activities for structured recreation. Helping students understand their homework and creating new learning ways to help them be successful. Teaching them our SEL (Social Emotional Learning) curriculum. Which would go over what emotions are and how to regulate them, helping them understand themselves and their relationship with others. As well as holding my own steam club every Friday, which would teach one of the STEAM subjects Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math each month. Establishing a good relationship with the students and their family was really important for the success of my students but as well for mine , regularly communicating on what their children’s day was like, building a sense of trust and communication for everyone.

This role would consist of helping students. Making sure every student was getting their work done, providing a safe and comfortable environment for student and parents a like. Responsibilities being that everyone would get their work done and completed by the end of the day, engaging in creative play, developing appropriate relationships with students and parents alike, and bring able to have fast flexibility in plans changing.

Certain tasks would have to be done by the end of the day, sticking by a schedule given by the mother that would be followed to exactly. Keeping the house clean and the child as well, closely monitoring and taking care of the child. Forming a strong bond with both mother and child.
