I was born on December 12, 1997, and graduated high school in 2014, two years earlier than typical. I enrolled at UCLA in 2014, where I pursued a degree in Business while also taking courses like Biochemistry to prepare for my future goals. Throughout my time at UCLA, I balanced academics with a variety of work experiences. I worked part-time as a nanny for a family with a young child, starting when the child was just 3 months old. I also worked at gym daycares, such as Gold’s Gym Westwood and Retro Fitness, caring for children while their parents worked out, and at a local school as a teacher’s aide. During school breaks and summers, I worked full-time as a nanny, providing consistent care and forming strong relationships with the children I worked with.
In addition to my regular nannying roles, I worked for several one-time families, providing emergency date night care, after-school care, and other temporary needs on multiple occasions. This experience allowed me to develop a flexible and adaptable caregiving approach, meeting the varied needs of families in different situations.
After graduating from UCLA in 2018, I transitioned to UCSF, where I enrolled in the Dentistry Program in August 2018. Over the next three years, I earned my dental degree, graduating in 2021. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Business, which I plan to complete before going back to continue my journey in the dental field.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have always maintained a strong commitment to working with children, whether as a nanny, a teacher’s aide, or in the dentistry field. I am passionate about helping others, which is why I later worked as a doula and night nanny for a family, offering care to both parents and children during the critical early stages of life. My experiences in both academic and caregiving environments have shaped me into a compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated individual.
