Brandon Lane

Because I am from Nunatsiavut, I have knowledge and experience in Inuit cultural practices of which was provided to me by both my Grandfather and Father growing up. I was taught how to provide for myself and others while on the land and would be glad to work both independently and with others to share my knowledge using on the land practices which would be shared during the Tupik program. I am able to both assemble and disassemble a tent and provide cultural programming while remaining an encouraging individual for our culture and language. I have experience hunting, fishing, skinning, gutting, wooding, sawing logs, among many other cultural experiences. I have basic Inuktitut knowledge of which I'm sure will also progress further with the use of the Tupik program and the Inuktitut programming opportunities that may arise with this new position.
