Product Support Technician
In this role we engage with customers, ensuring that their batteries are working properly over the phone or through email, the focus is to have good customer relations while ensuring they have full support on anything they need. Support
includes troubleshooting, training, parts and on the field repair service. As product service tech we need to have both technical and mechanical knowledge of all the battery models we currently have. Creating incidents on all customer issues and removing into the customers computer, logging in detailed notes of troubleshooting process on to CSI software the
troubleshooting process and following up with the customer to ensure their battery is back in service. Training battery techs or assisting them with any difficulties or issues at hand.
Battery Technician
In this role the technician needs to have AC-DC Electrical experience to be able to work on customer battery repair, this consists of troubleshooting the battery once we have determined the diagnosis we continue with repair. Customers’ batteries are placed in a que by order they came in or priority order this is determined by management. The repair process is disassembling the battery, ordering the parts from inventory, replacing boards, harnesses, cables, and battery cells. The testing phase is cycling the battery on a load bank by charging and discharging then starting a graph for data analysis and ensuring that the battery has met the Quality standards to ensure the battery will perform well out on the field. Lastly, we update notes on incidents and let the Product Support Technicians know when battery repairs have been completed to send them back to the customer in a timely manner.
Inspection of High Voltage Cables and Harnesses, reading Electrical Schematics and testing cables with Multimeter to ensure they conform to electrical standards IPC/WHMA-A-620. Vehicle inspections, good
documentation practices, fulfilling SOP orders, making sure that all documentation is being signed off by technicians per ISO 9001 standards, to ensure that customers get the best Quality Parts. Creating NCRs for all non-conforming parts, MRB and help with corrective and preventative actions. Making sure our customer satisfaction is 100%.

customers specifications. Measuring with calipers, micrometers, thread
gauges, height gauges, comparator and CMM. Calibration of tools, logging in
the data into the computer system. Training other quality technicians. CMM
experience making programs for parts using a CAD Model and being able to
test and measure parts.
