-Only nurse in the building, working to full scope of practice

-Manages 80 plus residents, continuously monitoring their daily well being.

-Completes assessments on residents prior to moving into Yorkton Crossing to confirm eligible.

-Performs head to toe assessment including level of care needed, mobility, MMSE, ability to administer own medications on all residents 10 days, one month and every 6months after move in and with any change in condition.

-Prepare care plans, prepare cost list of care, review care plans with resident and POA's. Update care plans, bath lists, dietary changes, medication changes', resident attendants job routines.

-Wound care on all residents as needed.

-IM injections to residents as needed.

-Catheter care, inserting and removing

-Medication administration.

-Weekly medication checks to MAR

-Faxing and processing doctors orders

-Manage staff of 20 plus Resident Attendants and 10 Medical Care Partner.

-Making shift schedules and inputting payroll for both RA's and MCP's

-Hiring staff, orientating staff, scheduling staff for training shifts

-Training new MCP and signing off specialized procedures

-Continuously training MCP's on new policies and procedures.

-Setting residents up with Pharmacy, inputting there personal information into pharmacy computer program, Emar

-Scheduling staff meetings, education

-Train staff on computer system used for charting care

-Communicates with professional partners example Pharmacists, Doctors, Home Care, LTC Assessors, Physiotherapists, and family members for all residents.

-In charge of Infection Control, ordering PPE supplies, setting up Immunization clinics. Assessing residents to be put on or off isolation.
