  • Independent and supervised management of a level 4 NICU which is a referral centre for the entire BC and Yukon. All surgical cases in neonates are managed in this NICU.
  • Performed history taking, physical examination, documentation, stabilisation of infant, antenatal consults and planning the transport of sick neonates within the province under supervision.
  • Functioned independently on night shifts and weekend calls. I made pre and post operative management plan and procedures like endotracheal intubation, UAC, UVC, LP, Chest tube insertions.
  • Attended all complicated high risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation pagers in the hospital.
  • Served as Lead Fellow at BC Women’s Hospital NICU for the academic year 2021-2022.
  • Arranged orientation and inter professional discussions during the implementation of Electronic Medical Records at BC Children’s and Women’s hospital, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
