• Managing all operational and administrative duties of a 15-person refugees/new-comer home including overseeing maintenance requirements, overseeing day to day running of the house, including supplies and logistics
• Managing intake processes for new residents and clients, following established procedures, engaging in in-person and virtual case work, tracking clients’ progress, addressed their challenges, and maintaining detailed support notes
• Providing settlement support (virtual and in person), connecting clients to relevant social services, legal aid, and immigration resources
• Providing information and making referrals to towards accessing personal, social, volunteering and employment opportunities
• Supervised residents preparing meals and handling chores and provided constructive feedback.
• Maintaining accurate digital records for all program participants

• Worked with the Grants Section to support grantees to develop project ideas; and to appraise proposals for funding
• Coordinated assistance, to appropriate agencies as they implement activities to provide access to formal and non-formal education as well other social services for adolescents and orphans affected by HIV/AIDS.

• Acted as the focal person for policy issues in the program areas of the Children’s Rights instruments; Child Rights advocacy; rights implementation monitoring and reporting
• Acted as the focal person for policy issues the program areas of abused; exploited; and sexually abused children; and child participation
• Oversaw the development of plans and budgets with line partners; coordinate and control implementation and ensuring that partners meet the reporting responsibilities
• Reviewed project/partnership agreements for purpose of continuously giving advice/reminders for proper partnership management
• Liaised with relevant Government ministries and bodies, institutions and groups to enhance experience sharing and to ensure the organisation remains in line with National policies, guidelines and Child Rights legislation
• Facilitated the documentation and sharing of experience among partners in the Child Rights legislation, advocacy, abused, exploited and sexually abused children program areas.

• Developed and implemented the annual Child Protection activity plan and budget as per ANPPCAN’s Five-year Strategic Plan

• Developed and made operational Child Rights Education and Advocacy materials

• Planned and coordinated the Child Abuse Awareness Week and Day of the African Child activities

• Trained school and community-based Child Rights Defenders and patrons

• Developed and set up the Child Rights Information Resource Centre

• Facilitating Operational Research on all forms of child abuse and neglect

• Served as a member of the National Media, Research, and Advocacy Committee

• Represented ANPPCAN various Child Protection networks in Government Departments and International Agencies.
