• Allowed me to take rigorous and advanced courses during my time from middle to high school in preparation for university-level coursework and helped me to become a leader within my community and school by participating in community service. I learned the importance of skills such as time management between academics and extracurricular activities.

- Assembly of UGVs

• Designed, engineered, and programmed small fully autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) through the use of Arduino software. Constructed small electric cars, and all-terrain rovers. Learned how to 3D-model vehicles using a software called SketchUp and how the use of sensors on UGVs can ensure the safety of a vehicle in operation.

- Assembly of UAVs

• Engineered and programmed UAVs through the use of Arduino software. Learned about the operation of aerial vehicles alongside aerodynamics. Worked with components such as motors, propellers, flight controllers, telemetry, and batteries. Wrote and modified code to customize the UAVs' flight modes and encountered challenges related to optimization.

- Correcting Technological Issues for Family and Friends

• Developed strong problem-solving skills as I addressed a wide range of technical issues and learned to tailor solutions to specific preferences of my family and friends. Allowed me to sharpen my technical skills, strengthen my social capabilities, and make a positive impact on the lives of my loved ones as it was a stepping stone towards my career.

- Drone Photography

• Provided me with a firsthand understanding of control systems, flight dynamics, remote sensing, and data analysis as these components are utilized in aerospace engineering (desired field of study). Combining drone photography with my passion for aerospace engineering has given me a deep appreciation for creative technological innovations.

- Designing/Renovating Home

• Learned how to balance aesthetics with functionality and helped reinforce my problem-solving skills with unexpected challenges that came up. Made critical decisions about decor, lighting, and spatial planning which gave me a sense of what interior designing can be like; it also led me to develop smarter financial decisions for my family and myself.

- Constructing Furniture and Accents for Home

• Provided me with a strong hands-on-knowledge of materials, tools, and various techniques on designing and building pieces that are tailored to my family's and my preferences and needs. Experience was both challenging and rewarding as each and every end product showed a strong reflection of my unique taste and desire for modernity in my lifestyle.

- Gardening with Irrigation Systems

• Constructed multiple irrigation systems for my gardens and performed regular maintenance on them as pipes, nozzles, and valves had to be cleaned, repaired, and adjusted due to weather conditions. Learned about the importance of water conservation, cost-effective solutions, and the changes in a plant's growth, health, and appearance.

- International Mother Language Day Committee (IMLDC)

• IMLDC honors and promotes the preservation of language, cultural diversity, and multilingualism for all people; first committee for this significant cause in U.S. history. Works closely with the City of Perris for the celebration of IMLD each year. Captured videos and pictures using my drone and camera during large scale events such as the Veteran's Day Parade of 2022 at the Perris City Hall. Edited media using software such as iMovie and Photoshop to contribute to the visual storytelling of the ambitions of the IMLDC. Assisted in financial management for my dad as he was the treasurer.

- Interact Club (Rotary International)

• Engaged with the community and volunteered at community events such as Harvest Festival at our City Hall. Worked alongside Rotary International and learned the importance of the power of collaboration among peers and others on a local scale. Provided me with a sense of fulfillment that came from positive experiences with meeting new people.

- American Red Cross (ARC)

• Supplied me with the necessary skills to respond to emergencies in and outside of school and collaborated with the Red Cross unit and fellow peers. Worked in school events that promoted the club such as Club Rush and Food Frenzy. Learned about health and safety standards, practiced communication skills, and general wellness within the community.
