I went on a mission trip with a select group of youth from my church to teach kids the word of god. During this trip, I've improved skills such as patience, collaboration, and kindness. Knowing how to work with other people was a huge part of this trip, along with leading kids and creating a fun environment.
Last summer I went on a mission trip to Toronto to run a summer camp for children from low-income neighborhoods. During my volunteer experience, I worked to keep the camp organized as well as keep campers interested in camp activities. This experience strengthened my empathy and leadership skills.
During the summer of 2024 I volunteered as a BYLD with the City of Kitchener day camps. In this role, I was responsible
