- As team lead I am tasked with overseeing a team of warehouse employees, making sure their daily tasks are completed and overall operation of the warehouse is maintained. In collaboration with my manager we ensure that all safety and proper training is complete and up-to-date. I also input payroll and organize time off requests when need be,
- I am still the lead purchaser and commercial quotations coordinator as well. This hybrid position includes creating and cutting purchase orders for stock replenishment and customer purchases whether it be repair parts or entire commerical job specs.
- The commercial quotations side of my position requires me to read engineer drawings and price the components that my customers require so they can bid on jobs.
- Other tasks my job involves are answering phones and emails, troubleshooting inquiries in relation to plumbing, heating and hydronics requests. I have also completed a few audits of industrial pipe counts and entire branch inventories. Occasional operation of forklift both inside and outside unloading trucks. If short, I put stock away, tidy and complete receiving as well.
- In jobs previous to this 16+ years ago I did janitorial work at Nativity Hall after Bingo & parties. I also worked at Food Basics in produce where I filled shelves, did openings and closings.
