Key Responsibilities

• Act as Quality Expert in developing, leading and participating in targeted training programs within the region.
• Drive performance by optimizing quality and uniformity at every step of the ECAN manufacturing process.
• Contribute to the development of Product and Quality Expertise in Eastern Canada Plants. Lead facilitator
• Create and encourage networks for the Quality and plant lab teams (ie. Managers, Engineers, Coordinators, Supervisors, etc) to share challenges and solutions.
• Actively contributes to, and drives for, the competency development of Quality and plant lab population at the site level in cooperation with Regional CIP Learning & Development

Achievements

• Led 100% Recycled Cement Project(100RCC), recycled clinker and cement industrially produced first time in history.
• Eastern canada Quality meeting (quarterly) initiated and sustaining which allowed all QA managers & leaders to discuss plant-specific challenges and key performance indicators (PQM, Uniformity, etc.) were able to offer recommendations to minimize gaps.
• Develop methods to evaluate ECAN plants Process Capabilities to formulate annual manufacturing Quality targets(MQO)

Key Responsibilities

• Assure that a safe working environment is provided for the well-being and health of all employees at the factory premises
• Manage & administrate the entire factory to achieve the set
  objectives (Annual - 2.6 Mio. Cement, Fixed cost, OEE>85%, Clinker Factor < 75%)
• Ensure to have strong support from the internal and external stakeholder management

Achievement

• The new factory was commissioned and commercial dispatch started in March 2022
• Organizational efficiency improvement: FTEs - 99 & SEEC - 33.2 kWh/t cem. & dispatch Capacity - 4000 TPD with single VRM.
• Three products were launched PCC/PFC & OPC & country marketshare -15% by 2022 October.

Key Responsibilities

• Led the company's strategic execution of product portfolio
  management
• Led 6 laboratories at one integrated plant, two grinding
  stations, one packing terminal & central R&D centre (indirect)
  including 48 personnel & 350 mio. LKR budget
• Lead on Composite Cement Standard (SLS 1697) implementation in Sri Lanka

Achievements

• Led and executed country slag importation process via. BASEL committee
• Successful product development & launch on the composite product with Clinker Factor < 70% (Expected EBIDTA contribution in 2022 more than 1 bio. LKR)
• Company CF reduced from 82% (2017) to 68%(2022-PCC), budgeted CF-70%

• Develop and standardize QA&QC practices (laboratory testing, analysis, tool) in Holcim Lanka.
• New Vertical Roller Mill, scope finalization & performance
  guarantee finalization and commissioning completion
• Developed and streamlined strategic sourcing of cementitious material.

• Centralized QA & QC function in HLL (Integrated plant-1, Grinding plant -2, Terminal-1)
• Developed and streamlined strategic sourcing of cementitious material
• Implement Product Portfolio Management together with
  manufacturing & commercial.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 26 integrated plants across seven countries (Singapore, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh) to activate waste management business & Alternative Fuel and Raw materials pre-processing and co-processing activation.
• International coaching exposures through PDA & Exposure
  working with McKinsey(HEAT map development)

Achievements

• Lead South & East Asia TSR increment project from 5% to 20% (Gross Added Value - 180 mio. CHF
• GAV baseline in 2012 - 40 mio. CHF with TSR -5%
• Achievement in 2014 - 111 Mio. CHF with (TSR-11%)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on plant efficiency & OEE improvement on capital
  expenditure projects (CAPEX), particularly in process designing, and process safety increased and ensuring the
  performance guarantees by conducting performance tests
• Lead Plant development plan- Short Term & Medium Term
• The head function of Plant development project commissioning
• Implementation of process control strategies directed by Holcim Group Support, all SOPs for optimal control of the unit operations

Achievement

• Thermal Energy Consumption reduced from 3860 MJ/t cli to 3566 MJ/t clk , Kilns MTBF 330 hrs
  The thermal Substitution Rate increased from 22% to 31%
  Specific Power Consumption was reduced from 105 kW/t cli to 95 kW/t clk
• Lead Process team (Cilacap- Indonesia) Quality & Process
  improvement to achieve production from 7400 tpd to 8000 tpd within 4 months
