Worked in a bush camp in Northern Ontario for 10 weeks each summer. Initially responsible for planting, and later added driving a bus to my duties. Developed skills in relationship-building, perseverance, and pushing limits. Gained proficiency in operating various large vehicles (school buses, quads, trucks and trailers).
Managed all aspects of dairy cow care, including bedding, feeding, and monitoring.
Assisted tradespeople in performing measurements, cuts, and material preparations based on supervisor's guidance. Utilized both hand tools and power tools to successfully execute construction assignments.
Performed various tasks related to pig farming including feeding, cleaning, and relocating pigs. Assisted with the birthing process of sows and piglets as well as administering necessary vaccinations. Undertook maintenance work by fixing fences around the pens when required.

John is a supervisor at Haveman Brothers Forestry Services and I have worked under his supervision for the past three years. John Haveman oversaw my training in becoming a bus driver. He has given me many hands on experiences and responsibilites relating to camp set up and take down which can be applied to other potential building projects
