Assist with medication administration, ensuring proper dosage and documentation

Perform and document vital signs every four hours

Provide direct patient care that includes hygiene assistance and mobility support

Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff

Provide hands on resident care, including hygiene assistance, mobility support, and comfort measures

Assist residents with feeding and meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met

Communicate with family members to provide updates on resident well being when necessary

Monitor and report changes in resident condition or behaviour to the healthcare team

Assist residents with personal hygiene needs and ADLs

Assist residents in the dining and activity rooms

Assist residents with feeding while also promoting dignity

Carry out other duties as assigned by the clinical instructor and the unit nurse
