Accomplishments

DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR EXHAUST SILENCERS (THESIS)

  • Designed and modeled the equipment for the required dimensions on SolidWorks.
  • Performed research on each part of the equipment.
  • Used ANSYS to study the air and fluid flow simulation; performed thermodynamics calculations.
  • Material sciences research was performed to select the correct material for the calculated area of values.
  • Inspected equipment for defects and safe operating condition, following state and local specifications.

  • Cat Food Simulator - Arduino

  • Used Arduino to design a software connected with Bluetooth; the purpose was to dispense food at the chosen quantity and minimize human effort. The pet being in a 20 cm radius of the cardboard made dispenser for 30 seconds would give off an alarm on the phone.
  • The application on the phone would show the quantity of the food stored in the dispenser indicated by a battery sign. Options existed to dispense the food in high, medium or low quantity in the application.

  • Two Stroke Engine - Design (01/2021 - 05/2021)

  • The research and the modelling of this two stroke engine alongside the calculated parameters were used to compare with those of a four stroke engine in the undergraduate research project.
  • Used SolidWorks to model a Two Stroke Engine; simulation performed with certain geometric values to calculate the required parameters.
