Job overview

As Senior Manager I am entrusted to lead an Engineering Department that can lead various process improvement projects as well as carry out various expansion project such as Power Generation through Solar Power generating 4 MW to enhance the cost saving in the power consumption of the unit. Moreover, capacity enhancement of Continuous Casting Machine to further increase the productivity to match the productivity of Furnace from 240,000 Tons per year to 400,000 Metric Tons Per Year, Revamping of Rolling Mill increasing the capacity from 240,000 Metric Tons Per year to 650,000 Metric Tons Per Year and Installation of MiDA Technology Plant where ASIL is to add a Single Strand Caster with 18 Stands Rolling Mill. This is a continuous process where billet will not be cut in different lengths rather it will be directly fed into the Rolling Mill taking the benefit of Energy Conservation as well as reduced wastage to further enhance the Productivity and reduce the costing.

Currently I am handling 5 different Contractors which included Civil and Mechanical whereas finalizing Electrical Contractor as well which will increase the number of contractor to 7. Directly I am leading a team of 18 personnel inclusive of Technical Heads, Managers and Engineers.

This is a continuous process where billet will not be cut in different lengths rather it will be directly feed into the Rolling Mill taking the benefit of Energy Conservation achieved due to direct feeding.

During the Course of Project, I have handled 06 different Contractors which included Civil, Mechanical as well as Electrical Contractors. Directly I had 14 Engineers under my direct supervision.
