WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) GPO settings and automatic updates on every machine of the plant were one of the things assigned. There should be automatic updates on every plant machine on Microsoft’s patch day, which is Tuesday.

Another thing assigned to me was automatic BitLocker encryption on C: drive on every system on the plant through GPO updates and making up a PowerShell script to automate that. o Doing inventory maintenance of every client machine and maintaining service tags on every machine. This includes checking the expiration of the laptop’s warranty date and updating it to the manager through an excel document of new and recent devices.

Deployment and updating of server room equipment with cisco vendor equipment.

Checking service desk tickets and replying to them on daily basis putting my manager as an attachment to tickets, so that he can get updated with tickets for support of on-plant people.

Other duties assigned as per requirement in working hours.

Responded to support requests from end-users and patiently walked individuals through basic troubleshooting tasks.

Provided Tier 1 IT support to non-technical internal users through desk side support services

Followed up with clients to verify optimal customer satisfaction following support engagement and problem resolution.

Configured hardware, devices, and software to set up work stations for employees.
