As a civil engineer, I possess a deep understanding of my field, which inspired me to share my knowledge by teaching civil engineering courses to fellow students during my studies. When I entered my Master’s program at Polytechnique Tehran, widely regarded as the top technical university in Iran, I chose to specialize in water engineering. My master’s thesis focused on scouring downstream of a type two stilling basin, marking my first major research experience in a large-scale project within this field.
Building on my passion for research and my growing expertise, I developed a keen interest in Machine Learning algorithms. This eventually led to my acceptance into the PhD program at Polytechnique Montréal, one of the world’s leading institutions, particularly noted for its focus on industrial projects. At this advanced stage of my career, I am eager to collaborate with other communities in this city to further expand my experience and contribute meaningfully to the field of water engineering.
With my extensive experience in research, I was hired by Shimbar Company as a research assistant, tasked with sourcing and providing materials for a new project. Due to company policy, I am unable to disclose specific details about the project. In my role, I collaborate closely with AI specialists and designers to enhance performance and efficiency, specifically leveraging artificial intelligence to meet the company’s goals.
I am a dedicated specialist in water engineering, and my PhD research focuses on developing Machine Learning algorithms to predict overflow events in sewer network systems. My passion for this field drives me to continuously seek out industrial and practical projects where I can apply my expertise. I thrive on exploring innovative solutions and am eager to contribute to initiatives that align with my knowledge and skills.
