The last-ever print issue of The Coast before the publication’s full pivot to digital was the 2021 Fall Arts Preview issue. The 30-page issue was a several-weeks-long project managed and crafted by Mullin: From writing profiles and trend pieces to conceptualizing the issue’s cover to liaising with the art department to create the final layout. The issue features 17 bylines of Mullin’s, including a far-reaching piece of original reporting documenting Halifax’s current venue crisis.
