As senior I am responsible for half of a standard caseload as an assessor coordinator as well as supporting the CPAS team members at my site. I am responsible for consults, clinical supervision, education, support with complex cases and assisting with challenging situations with clients, families or other staff. I also assist with the ALC clients and utilize leadership, solution focused problem solving and compassionate care to help contribute to patient flow within our system.

As an assessor coordinator within acute care I am responsible for discharge planning, linking client's with community resources, assessing level of care, working within an interdisciplinary team, problem solving and assisting with patient flow within the acute care system. I have also previously had part of a community caseload and was responsible for maintaining my clients access to services in the community, providing ongoing assessments of their needs, coordinating appropriate careplans and liaising with other care providers to ensure optimized health outcomes.

I was responsible for completing the psycho-social intake assessment for the child and youth counseling team and assisting children/youth and their families connect with other community agencies when appropriate.

As a member of the Practice Ethics committee I was responsible for consulting on ethical questions/dilemmas posed by registered members of the SASW. I was required to have comprehensive knowledge of the Code of Ethics, the Standards for Practice and Guidelines for Ethical Practice and provide a collaborative response with the other team members within a reasonable timeline.

As an addictions counselor I was responsible for supporting clients through their recovery, assisting to organize and coordinate treatment plans, documented progress for other care providers and work within a care team to provide addictions education and programming.
