The role includes:

• Utilizing existing science or creating science needed, especially nutritional and feed/food science, for forming methods, standards, and additional required documentation that will serve for scientific advocacy in front of regulatory bodies, pet food industry associations, and veterinary professionals.
• Implemented and developed operational standards, processes, and procedures.
• Actively co-chairing Nutrition Work Stream in a global pet food association (GAPFA) as well as providing support to local and regional trade associations. Develops annual priorities within trade association to promote business strategy.
• Continued from previous role: Deployed Global Regulatory Advocacy strategy within more than 15 markets, focused on pet food nutritional and dietetic veterinary products standards and regulatory framework, supported individual markets in creating tailored strategy adapted to their market, provided market-specific nutritional and scientific advocacy expertise, and creation of educational plans for stakeholders.

The role included several areas of responsibility:

• Continued providing regulatory expertise with project teams that create nutritional solutions (complete feed or functional complements) with external manufacturers in a multi-region landscape.
• Developing from ground up global cross-functional strategy and ways of working in the area of ingredients approvals - processes, annual priorities and coordinated cross-regional budget plan, while managing highly complex regulatory requirements environment.
• Deployed Global Regulatory Science and Advocacy strategy within more than 15 markets and regions, focused on pet food nutritional and dietetic veterinary products standards and regulatory framework, supported individual markets in creating tailored strategy adapted to their market, provided market-specific nutritional and scientific advocacy expertise and creation of educational plans for stakeholders.

This role included the following:

• Built from ground up Trade Center of Expertise for the Region "Emerging & Seeds" in Royal Canin. Created regional trade lane strategy, business cases, dealt with complexity of regulatory and sanitary requirements.
• Pinpointed the need for pork free products (regulatory or consumer perception) in many countries in the region, and the opportunity the business has with such products in general and initiated the discussion on the need in S&OP+ forums, which led to today's planning of such products for Royal Canin.
• Providing regulatory expertise with project teams that create nutritional solutions (complete feed or functional complements) with external manufacturers in a multi-region landscape.

The role included several areas of responsibility:

• Providing nutritional support internally in R&D units [in projects, research, formulation, clinical questions (technical support), and training], as well as externally
• Primary leader of different projects, involving novel ingredients (proteins), and start-ups
• Maintaining and creating contact with existing and new key opinion leaders, respectively
• Chair of several committees handling key nutritional matters.
• Supported the creation of a Business Unit from an Importer Unit - from regulatory, scientific communication, and scientific affairs perspectives, as well as participated in the launch. Support provided was at tactical and operational levels.

The role included:

• Registration and Certification of animal feed, as well as supervising recall procedures
• Monitoring animal intoxication by feed
• Laying down the legislation - regulations and requirements for the import and manufacturing of animal feed
• Additional projects:

1. Successful preparation of a dossier to the WOAH (previously known as OIE), regarding the status of bovine spongio-encephalopathy (BSE), in order to change Israel

status to “negligible”.

2. Risk assessment and dossier preparation to promote

the export of ready-to-eat meat products to Russia.

The role included:

• Veterinarian in the Jerusalem Municipality
• Practiced veterinary medicine with emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management and emergency medicine in small animals.

The role included:

• Health inspections, as well as chemical and bacteriological water inspections.
• Supervising animal welfare in the bases, with emphasis on wild animals.
• Participated in health education research initiatives, developing and evaluating health education programs.
• Conducted health screenings and assessments to identify health needs and risk factors for individuals and communities.

The role included:

• Educating pet owners on treatment options for various illnesses, collaborating with specialists to provide thorough education.
• Performed physical exams and procedures on patients, continuously communicating about patient needs and comfort levels.
