I am a mother of 3 children with special needs and a husband with physical and mental health issues who all qualified for the Disability Tax Credit several years ago. I have now been helping other deserving families for the past 15 years.
I'm a strong advocate for special education, physical and mental health issues, taxpayer relief for client debt, advocating with physicians, and CRA review and appeals if required. I provide resources for home renovation programs for disabled individuals, funding for special needs summer camps and so much more. Most of my DTC clients ask me to file their annual taxes. This is how I started doing taxes. I don't speak to them for a year, then they contact me during tax season and we do some catching up. on how their family is doing. I complete their taxes, either same day or next day. It's rewarding when my clients are happy and satisfied with their results. In my spare time, I enjoy making birdbaths out of upcycled material, usually glass. I started to do this for the past 3 years. I have a giveaway draw on Mother's day to win a free birdbath. In order to be entered for the draw they have to go to my facebook page, "birdsong baths" and click on like and share. Last year I had over 250 entries. I really enjoy how happy the winners are to collect their birdbath. They know exactly where it's going to go in their garden or back yard. I have them send me a picture of it, once they get it home, then I post it on my facebook page for others to see.
