During my course in centennial college i made a research about the creation of insulin injection for Diabetes Mellitus . Insulin was discovered by Sir Frederick G Banting, Charles H best and JJR Macleod at the university of toronto in 1921. Charles H best an associate of Sir Frederick G banting founded the diabetic association of ontario in this late 1940s which was later changed to Diabetes Canada by 2017. Insulin injection was founded due to the inability of the body to produce insulin or utilize insulin produced by the body to break down glucose. Sir Frederick and Charles had to extract insulin from a dogs pancreas to use as their first test on a 14 year old  dying of diabetes in Toronto hospital. After injecting him with the they noticed his blood glucose level has dropped in 24 hours. This resulted in them receiving a noble price in 1923.
