Summary

It is with great enthusiam that I apply for the program facilitator position with Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services. One of my most rewarding endevours is being a Anishinaabeg Ikwe of Lac Seul First Nation who continues to serve the Nation through the Executive Women's Council of GCT3, I am currently serving my second 4 year term. I bring a great wealth of cultural teachings, laws, customs and best practices which prove to be a valuable asset when working in the mental health fields and restorative justice approaches. I have several years of western work experience as well as indigenous worldviews and approaches in the areas Mental Health and Anishinaabeg Restorative Justice approaches. I am also familiar with approaches, methods, techniques in data management for mental health and mental health management. Working with duty counsel, crown attorney, community police, leadership, elders, victims and perpetrators through an Indigenous Worldview have been some of my successful and fulfilling experiences. I would love the opportunity to further elaborate, should I be considered for an interview.
