Human Resources Intern
• Provide consistent support to employees and foster positive labor relations to create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive and deliver high performance.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources team and senior leaders to execute human resources programs successfully within the company.
• Respond to associate inquiries as per internal customer service guidelines, offering recommendations for problem resolution or redirecting as appropriate.
• Participate in the full-cycle recruitment and selection process.
• Conduct or co-facilitate orientation to ensure successful onboarding of all new hires.
• Support internal audit process of associate files and benefit information to ensure consistent format and compliance with Sysco policy and legislative requirements.
• Assist with facilitation of Sysco's training programs as needed.
• Provide support to supervisors regarding issues of employee performance or behavior, preparing letters of discipline, and participating in the investigation process as required.
• Support safety initiatives, including injury prevention and ability management.
• Maintain the HRIS, ensuring information is accurate and providing training to end-users.
