I am a highly motivated and resourceful professional with diverse experience in administrative support, community mobilization, and client services. Originally from Afghanistan, I migrated to Canada in 2022, bringing with me a strong background in fostering community engagement and delivering practical solutions to diverse populations.
My career began as a Front Desk Assistant at Shifobakhsh National Medical Center in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where I successfully managed patient check-ins, scheduled appointments, and provided information to ensure smooth operations. This role helped me develop exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. In Afghanistan, I gained significant experience in community social mobilization, working closely with local leaders and elders to resolve issues, support vulnerable youth, and connect individuals with relevant community resources.
Since relocating to Canada, I have continued to expand my skill set through volunteer work with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, where I assisted newcomers with their settlement and integration processes, and with COSTI Settlement Services in Toronto, ON, where I supported immigrants in adjusting to their new lives. I also gained hands-on experience as a carpenter helper with Dynamic Fenestration in Abbotsford, BC, further enhancing my versatility in different work environments.
These varied experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with diverse teams, and provide high-quality service in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes roles. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to contribute meaningfully in any professional setting.
