· Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g. calcium silicate, foam glass, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, piping).Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine insulation requirements.

· Measure, cut, fit and install insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension.

· Install vapor barriers and finish insulated surfaces by applying metal cladding, canvas, plastic sheeting or cement.

· Previous industrial construction experience

· Housekeeping and cleaning after each job

• Assess hazard and write FLHA before the start of the shift

• Planning with the journeyman as directed by the foreman.

• Assisting journeyman with the insulating and cladding of various pipes

• Making different kinds of knots for hoisting and lowering of materials.

• Cleaning as we go and end of the work

• Enhanced scaffold safety by conducting thorough inspections and addressing potential hazards promptly.
