Focus on Youth was a program organized by the peel district school board to ease the pathway for current middle school students who are transitioning to high school. This was an opportunity for the board to hire graduating students to come in and assist the teacher assigned whilst also planning the schedule for the week. As employees, it was our responsibility that to ensure the students completed their assignments/activities on time, the chromebooks were all returned back to the library after class, and that there were no kids wandering across the school during learning hours. The job also meant that we had to act as chaperones for the field trips the kids went on. The program run from 8 am till 2pm, 5-days a weeks.
